About Rice Purity HQ

A familiar checklist, a clear explanation and a receipt you control.

Rice Purity HQ is an independent, English-language version of the Rice Purity Test for adults. The aim is straightforward: let you read the complete list, answer at your own pace and decide whether to keep or share a summary.

What the number means

On a complete test, your score is 100 minus the number of items you marked Yes. Each item has the same weight. It is a count from this checklist, not a diagnosis or a judgment of your character, health, maturity or relationships.

You may skip any question. Skipped and unmarked items remain unknown unless you explicitly decide to count unmarked items as No. With unknown items, the result shows an Incomplete label and a possible score interval. Read the score meaning guide for the arithmetic and its limits.

The question version

This site uses classic-100-v1: the numbered 1–100 checklist checked against The Rice Purity Test source page on October 25, 2026. We exclude the source page’s promotional item 0. Historical wording is retained, with separate notes for some expressions. Item 69 appears as a question mark in that source; we preserve the ambiguity and let you skip it.

The version label matters. Other sites may change, replace or interpret items, so their scores are not automatically equivalent. A source citation identifies what was checked; it does not imply permission, endorsement or institutional review.

Your browser does the work

Answers and calculations run in your browser. This site does not create a cloud record of your personal result. Your browser can keep the answer session so you can continue after a refresh, and you choose whether to restore it.

Receipts are generated locally. Result links carry only the summary you choose: an exact score, one of five broad ranges, or a score presented as a guess-first invitation. Anyone with a complete link can decode its summary. Links are not authenticated scores and cannot be revoked individually. See Privacy for the full data flow.

Rice Purity HQ is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Rice University, The Rice Thresher or Archive of Our Own (AO3). We do not claim an official version, expert review, a representative average or a ranking of people who take the test.

Participation and sharing are optional. The checklist is not a list of goals. You do not owe anyone an answer or a number.
