Your individual answers stay in your browser. Creating a share link does not upload your result to our servers. The result you choose to share is included in the link itself.
Answering and calculating
The questionnaire, score calculation and result display run on your device. There is no account, answer-submission endpoint or cloud database of personal results. We do not ask for a name, age, birthday or demographic profile.
The current answer session is kept in browser memory and, when available, sessionStorage under a versioned Rice Purity HQ key. This lets you continue after a refresh. On returning, you choose Continue or Start over before old answers are put into the question controls.
Session storage is not intended as permanent storage, but a browser’s session-restore features may retain it. We do not promise that closing a tab immediately and irreversibly deletes every copy. If storage is unavailable, the test can work in memory on the current page; refreshing may lose that session.
Saving a receipt
A receipt image is drawn in your browser and downloaded to your device. The site does not upload it for image generation. A saved image can contain the score or range shown on it. If you choose to send that image, its content goes to your chosen recipient and platform.
Creating and sending a link
A link contains a result summary: the version and display mode plus either an exact complete score or one of five broad score ranges. It contains no individual answers, question numbers, name, age, email or timestamp.
The summary is encoded in the fragment, the part after #. The key needed to decode it travels in the same complete link. This hides a readable score from the URL’s appearance; anyone with the complete link can decode or reconstruct its summary. It provides no access control, proof of answers or authenticated score.
Guess-first mode is a playful reveal interaction. A person with technical access to the full link can inspect its result without guessing. Their guess and reveal remain on their device; we do not send a receipt, notification or guess to the link’s sender.
Copying or using the system share menu puts the complete link into the clipboard or the channel you choose. Those channels and their recipients can retain or forward it. A share-menu action is not evidence that another person received it.
Opening a shared result
Your browser requests the static share page and its resources. The fragment is not included in the ordinary HTTP page request. The page decodes it locally and does not forward the fragment, token, score or guesses to an API, analytics service or error-reporting service.
Opening someone else’s result does not replace your own answer session. The share and result pages have no advertising, analytics or session-replay scripts. Their noindex instructions discourage search indexing; they are not access protection.
Clearing and limits of control
Clear answers and Start over remove this site’s local answer session and current result preview. They do not clear unrelated browser storage. They cannot delete a downloaded image, clear another person’s clipboard or disable a link already copied or sent.
There is no per-link revocation, mandatory expiry, access history or cloud recovery service. A link can remain usable while the website and its protocol continue to be supported.
Ordinary website traffic
This is a static site hosted on Cloudflare. Loading pages, scripts, styles and images still creates network requests. Cloudflare and the network services involved may process ordinary connection information, such as an IP address and request details, under their own service practices. Local answer processing is not a claim that browsing creates no network records.
On the production website, public content pages load Pageview analytics from app.pageview.app to measure visits for ricepurityhq.com. The script sends page-view events, including the current URL and referrer, to that service. Result, share and contact pages do not load this script. We do not add individual answers, scores, share tokens or guesses to analytics events. Advertising remains disabled, and receipts are generated locally in your browser.
Contacting us
If you choose an email link on Contact, your email application opens and you decide whether to send a message. Email is handled by the providers involved; this site has no message submission form or contact-message database. Our email links do not attach your answers, score, token, guess or current personal URL.
Please keep sensitive test details out of correspondence. You can describe a wording or technical issue without sharing your result.
